A Kingdom…
A Kingdom for a horse… some other times, but if the need is strong, the value is high. In the war for a talent, the need is strong, but how to define a value? Market is setting up some “value markers” that are questionable from ROI perspective. But hey, who is talking about ROI when “value nominator” – money is flooding the world looking for “golden chances” in “the land of fog”.
In my, now not that short life, I had a chance to come across different value creating circumstances and a lot of value creating narratives, that where only that, a narrative. But there is one value creating praxis that for me was always a sign of working with a true winner. And that is taking “ownership” of situation and making things happen.
Ownership competence
When you are listening to conversation about what is needed to succeed in this highly competitive world, majority will talk about: knowledge, ambitions, accountability, self-drive, experience, relationships, … But from my experience all that come, when people really commit. And the ones that do (commit there is), they will yearn for “taking ownership” and they will make things happen. Not because they need to, but because they want to. And they will do that for the things known and unknown.
I salute to all those out there “taking ownership” and bringing “pieces’ of every puzzle together” so that they can form a beautiful “masterpiece”. Be it in business, sport, human relationships, love, friendships, parenting,….
